~ ~ Newsletter January 2013 ~ ~
January 25, 2013I'd like to take the time to tell you about some of the new changes that are going on now at American Dive Center. The first thing you may have noticed is our new pricing for 2013 on our tank fills, which have been reduced. I have also redesigned our showroom floor for better flow and product placement. One of the things I'm really excited about is introducing Dive travel to the shop. Our first International trip of the year is to Sunset House on Grand Cayman, October 19-26, 2013. Details on this trip can be found on our Upcoming Travel page. Another thing you may have noticed is that I have re-organized dive classes here at American Dive Center. We are no longer using a calendar system, meaning, we no longer wait for classes to develop. Now, as students come in to the shop to sign up for classes they have 2 options, semi-private and private classes and can schedule and start right away. There is also new class pricing as well to reflect the new changes on our scuba classes menu. We are limiting our class size to a maximum of 5 students. We are committed to providing you with exceptional instruction and customer service that you would expect from your local full service dive center!
As January is coming to a close, we are enjoying 76 degree temperatures in the Atlantic, while our northern neighbors are shoveling snow and using their snow blowers. Warmer waters will be upon us in a few months. Time to think about bringing in your gear for annual service before hitting the water again. Remember that SCUBA equipment is "life support equipment". Your life depends on it every time you go diving, so we encourage you to get it serviced with us. Turn around time is currently 1- 2 weeks allowing us the opportunity to service everything. Our service technicians are specially trained on the various brands and models of SCUBA equipment. Have your equipment serviced annually by a trained technician and allow for them to have the time to do it properly.
As a reminder to our spearo clientele, Grouper season is closed from January 1 until April 30, 2013.
For our lobster hunters, season is open until March 31, 2013.
There is still time to get your fresh Stone Crabs until May 15, 2013.
