Fixing Problems
Older Browsers
For PC compatible systems, this page requires that your browser is a Netscape or Internet Explorer level 4.0 or higher. Macintosh systems require level 3.0 or higher.
Refresh/Reload Page
First make sure the page loaded completely. To do this in Internet Explorer, right click your mouse and select Refresh. For Netscape, select Reload.
No sound
Click here to test your sound card. Your sound player should open and you should hear a sound. If your sound player does not open, or you do not hear a sound when it does, then your sound may not be turned on, or you might have a problem with your sound system. Consult your owners manual for possible fixes.
Java support not enabled
This page requires that Java support is enabled on your browser. If you get security warnings or the recorder will not display, you may be able to fix the problem by changing your browser settings as follows.
- Netscape 4.0 users: Select Edit Preferences | Advanced and check the box labeled Enable Java.
- Internet Explorer 5.5 users: Select Tools | Internet Options | Security | Custom Level and check the Java Permissions | High Safety radio button.
