organization in the world. Approximately 70% of the divers certified each

Scuba Course Learning Materials

first Beginner Scuba Course you must complete the independent
learning portion of the course. The learning materials offered

Textbook/Video Crew Pack
The Textbook/Video Crew Pack
includes the "PADI Open Water Diver Manual", the "PADI Open
Water Diver Video", dive tables, and a log book to record your
dives. The material in the manual and video are presented in
an enjoyable and easy to use format. The use of color and numerous
illustrations makes getting ready to dive a snap.
If you prefer a traditional approach to learning,
then the Textbook/Video Crew Pack

CD-ROM Crew Pack
The CD-ROM Crew Pack
covers all the material that is in the "PADI Open Water Diver
Manual" and the "PADI Open Water Diver Video". The package
also includes dive tables and a log book to record your dives.

for certification at your own pace. The three CD-ROM
set teaches you the basics and the fine points of

Online eLearning Course
The Online eLearning Course provides the independent learning portion of the course in an easy to use, online format. After enrolling, PADI’s eLearning course presents you with interactive presentations that include videos, audio, graphics and reading. Short quizzes let you gauge your progress, and review and correct anything you might happen to miss. This lets you move through the program efficiently and at your own pace.
The fee for the Online eLearning Course is $120 (US). The fee covers your knowledge development training and gives you unlimited access to an electronic version of the PADI Open Water Diver Manual (course textbook).
